LE CIMETIÉRE ANGLAIS

Le 7 Novembre mon classe et moi, nous visitons le cimetiére anglais de Málaga.

J'ai vu las tombes de personnes comme Jorge Guillen (poète espagnol), Robert Boyd, etc...

Au début de l'excursion j'ai acheté information les tombes et l'historie du cimetiére.

Pour moi le cimetiére est pul mais est joli. Ensuite je suis montee dans le bus et je suis rentrée au le lycée.

DESCRIPTION OF AN EVENT.

 PROTEST FOR EDUCATION

Last month , a protest was called at "Street Larios".

A lot of students and teachers went to the protest to demonstrate against the education law that the spanish government established in Spain.

While some people raised placards, posters, flags, etc... Other people shouted and talked with a microphone. And other persons distributed leaflets and stickers.

A lot of people came to protest and the next day 20th Novembrer demostration was organized in same place to fight for education in Spain.

ENGLISH CEMETERY PROJECT

ENGLISH CEMETERY PROJECT

 His name is St. George. Its denomination is Anglican. The cemetery is open on Thuesday at Saturday at 9:30 at 14:30 but on Monday is close.The cemetery is maintained by donations.

Edward J.Northon is the general consul of the USA buried in the cemetery.

The lines written on Dr Gerald Maurice Jewson's tombstone are 'Here lives a man forever kin at gentle lorring, noble mind and through our teans we all can see how good can live in you and me'.

Robert Boyd was executed at the 'Playa de San Andrés', in 11 December, 1831. He was ecxecuted for fighting for liberal ideas. English consul foundea Malaga's English cemetery. The jobs of the 4 military neb who died in the 1940s were flying officer.

Gerald Brenan is buried in the cemetery. He was born in Malta, in 1894, and he was died in Alahurin in  1987. Can be found on the tombstone of Gerald Brenan's wife 'Feak no more the heat o the sun'. Her name is Gamel Woolsegy Brenan. 

Ethel Mabel Miles and George Bordon Miles was a canadian married caple that are burried together. St. Augustine's quotation is written on A. Cecil Gee's tombstone is 'Thow hast great teed us tur myself and our heart can't be quiet till it may fin repase the peace'.

The English master painter buried in the cemetery is Thomas William Jacques. He lived in the 20th century. You can see asparragos an the graves.

Restaurant review

100 MONTADITOS

Everyone is talking about 100 Montaditos on all the shoping centers. 100 Montaditos is a spanish restaurant. It has got salad, sandwiches, montaditos, healthy food...

Every pepople go to 100 Montaditos because it has: 1 montadito and a beer for 1€. My favourite food is, sandwich of atun, olive oil and tomato. Their food is delicious! It's open every day.

Cimetière Père-Lachaise

Le Cimetière Père-Lachaise est le cimetière le plus grand á París et conne dans tout de monde.

Beaucoup de parisiens visite le cimetière comme un parc. Dans ce cimentière il y a enterré beacoup de célébrites: chanteurs, écrivains, politiques, poètes etc. Aussi il y a un monument dédie pour les espagnoles.

-Paul Lafargue (15-1-1842, Cuba  -  26-11-1911, Francia).

Il est enterré dans le Cimetière Père-Lachaise.

Il á etait un journaliste, medicin, politique communiste, et revolutionnaire français. À 69 ans, il se suicidé avec sa femme , Laura( la fille du Karl Marx, l'inventeur du communisme). Il est surtout connu pour son essai "Le Droit à la peresse".

 

-Néstor Majnó (27-10-1889, Ucrania - 25-7-1934, París).

Il est enterré dans le Cimetière Père-Lachaise.

Il á était un revolutionaire anarchise ucranien.

Il est devenu une grande figure de l'anarchisme.

Néstor s'echappe à París, oú il travaille comme un ouvrier.

Et il meurt à Paris, de tuberculose le 25 juillet 1934.

 

Cinderella

CINDERELLA

 Once upon a time there lived an unhappy young girl. Her mother was dead and her father had married a widow with two daughters. Her stepmother didn't like her one little bit. All her kind thoughts and loving touches were for her own daughters. Nothing was too good for them - dresses, shoes, delicious food, soft beds, and every home comfort.

But, for the poor unhappy girl, there was nothing at all. No dresses, only her stepsisters’ hand-me-downs. No lovely dishes, nothing but scraps. No rest and no comfort. She had to work hard all day. Only when evening came was she allowed to sit for a while by the fire, near the cinders. That’s why everybody called her Cinderella. Cinderella used to spend long hours all alone talking to the cat. The cat said, . Miaow. , which really meant, . Cheer up! You have something neither of your stepsisters has and that is beauty.. It was quite true. Cinderella, even dressed in old rags, was a lovely girl. While her stepsisters, no matter how splendid and elegant their clothes, were still clumsy, lumpy and ugly and always would be.

 One day, beautiful new dresses arrived at the house. A ball was to be held at the palace and the stepsisters were getting ready to go. Cinderella didn't even dare ask if she could go too. She knew very well what the answer would be: . You? You're staying at home to wash the dishes, scrub the floors and turn down the beds for your stepsisters. They will come home tired and very sleepy.. Cinderella sighed, . Oh dear, I'm so unhappy!. and the cat murmured . Miaow..

 Suddenly something amazing happened. As Cinderella was sitting all alone, there was a burst of light and a fairy appeared. . Don't be alarmed, Cinderella,. said the fairy. . I know you would love to go to the ball. And so you shall!. . How can I, dressed in rags?. Cinderella replied. . The servants will turn me away!The fairy smiled. With a flick of her magic wand Cinderella found herself wearing the most beautiful dress she had ever seen. . Now for your coach,. said the fairy; "A real lady would never go to a ball on foot! Quick! Get me a pumpkin!. . Oh of course,. said Cinderella, rushing away. Then the fairy turned to the cat. . You, bring me seven mice, and, remember they must be alive!.Cinderella soon returned with the pumpkin and the cat with seven mice he had caught in the cellar. With a flick of the magic wand the pumpkin turned into a sparkling coach and the mice became six white horses, while the seventh mouse turned into a coachman in a smart uniform and carrying a whip. Cinderella could hardly believe her eyes.

 

Cinderella had a wonderful time at the ball until she heard the first stroke of midnight! She remembered what the fairy had said, and without a word of goodbye she slipped from the Prince. s arms and ran down the steps. As she ran she lost one of her slippers, but not for a moment did she dream of stopping to pick it up! If the last stroke of midnight were to sound... oh... what a disaster that would be! Out she fled and vanished into the night. 

The Prince, who was now madly in love with her, picked up the slipper and said to his ministers, “Go and search everywhere for the girl whose foot this slipper fits. I will never be content until I find her!”
So the ministers tried the slipper on the foot of every girl in the land until only Cinderella was left.

 

That awful untidy girl simply cannot have been at the ball,. snapped the stepmother. . Tell the Prince he ought to marry one of my two daughters! Can't you see how ugly Cinderella is?. But, to everyone. s amazement, the shoe fitted perfectly.Suddenly the fairy appeared and waved her magic wand. In a flash, Cinderella appeared in a splendid dress, shining with youth and beauty. Her stepmother and stepsisters gaped at her in amazement, and the ministers said, "Come with us Cinderella! The Prince is waiting for you." So Cinderella married the Prince and lived happily ever. As for the cat, he just said "Miaow!"

1. I switch off the light when I leave a room.
2. I switch off us TVs, DVD players and PCs, I don't leave them on standby.
3. I never leave the fridge door open.
4. I have a quick warm shower, not a long hot one.
5. I turn off the tap when I'm cleaning my teeth.
6. I recycle bottles, paper and plastic.
7. Turn down central heating or air conditioning.
8. Only use dishwahers and washing machines when they are ful.
9. Use low-evergy light bulbs.
10. Use cars less, use public transport more often, walk and cycle more.

Octopus' Story

OCTOPUS' STORY

On night on my holiday on the moon light, I was playing to music with the guitar, I was nex to the fire with my rabbit. The next day, I was watching TV and I saw a policeman shooting a big octopus, it had killed a lot of people. I looked in the computer a potography of a time machine, I built it. I went to the past and I saved the people and killed the octopus.

Origine de la Saint Valentin!

QUI EST SAINT-VALENTIN?

Le 14 février c'est la Saint Valentin. Valentin est le patron des amoureux. Il y a plusieurs légendes en ce qui concerme l'histoire du Saint Valentin.

Celle qui revíent le plus souvent est la suivante: Saint Valentin était un prête qui fût emprisonné et decapité un certain 14 février. L'histoire raconte que les enfants aimaient beaucoup Valentin. Il était leur ami. Pour le réconforter, les enfants lui passaient des messages d'affection à travers les barreaux de sa cellule. C'est peut-être l'explication des petits mots deux qu'on échange, avec des fleurs et des cadeux, le 14 février?

Une autre légende, ranconte qu'à l'époque où Rome ètait engagée dans des campagnes militaires, l'empereur Claude II, surmomé Claude le Cruel, ayant des difficultés à recruter des soldats pour son armée, decida d'interdire le mariage! Il pensait que les romains refusaient de combattre car ils préféraient rester avec leurs femmes. Malgré les ordres de l'Empereur, Sait-Valentine continua pourtant de célébrer del mariages. Lorsque Claude II apprint l'existence de ces mariages secrets, il fait emprisionner Valentin. C'es pendarnt son séjour en prision que Valentin fit la comaissance de la file de son geôlier(gardien  de prision), une jeune file aveugle â qui, dit-on, il redonna la vue et adressa una lettre signée "Ton Valentin".

L'AMOUR DANS TOUS SES ÉTATS!

 

En Grèce le dieu de l'amour s'appelle Éros, et chez les Romains, le nom du dieu de l'amour est Cupidon. On le représente souvent en ange armé d'un arc et de flèches.

Autrefois, on pensait que les sentiments étaient dans le coeur. C'est pourquoi aujourd'hui, il y a beaucouo d'expressions avec le mot "coeur" pour parler d'amour.

Malaga University Vice-Chance Llor's Office

This is a building was designed by Teodoro de Anasagasti and inagurated in 1923 to house the Post Office. It is of Neo-mudejar style. It was used until 1986 as the Post and Telegraph Office, it has now been rehabilitated and transformed into Malaga University's Vice-Chancellor's Office.

Customs Palace

The new customs building in 1788. This Neo-Classie style palace has four floors and has aninteresting inner patio. This building will be soon Malaga Fine Arts Museum.

Palace of Guard

Is was founded in 1840. It is the oldest winery in Malaga.

Phoenix Dactylifera

The date palm is palm in the gnus Phoenix, cultivated for its edibe sweet fuit. Although its place of origin is unknow because of long cultivaton, it probably originated from lands around Iraq.

Strelitzia Reginal

Sterilitzia reginal is a perennial flower. It has flowers for long periods.

Town Hall

On 11th April 1919 the Town Council took possession of what was to become the Town Hall, and still is to the present day.The building is situated in the Paseo del Parque.

 Hi! My name is Marta. I'm  14 years old. My birthday is on 20 January. I'm tall and                 thin. I have got long straight hair and brown eyes. I'm cheerful, intelligent,                                           generous, lazy... My favourite food is pasta, but I like fruit and vegetables too. In my free time I listen to music, I love listen to music, always listen to music because music is life, I like  read books too.

I live in Malaga, Spain but my family are from Cordoba. I live with my parents and my sister, but I have other sister and one brother. My mother's name is Maribel and my parent's name is Manolo. My sisters are called Laura and Ana, and my brother, Sergio. Ana has 17 years old, she is tall, cute and funny, Laura has 32 years old, she is friendly and jolly, Sergio has 36 and he is cheerful and funny. I don't have any pets in my house because , my mother doesn't likes animals. And I have a lot of uncles, aunts and cousins, I love my family!I have many friends but my BFF's are Marina, Lucia, Nuria and Carmen. Marina has short curly hair and she is thin. She is very funny. Nuria is tall and she has long dark straight hair. She is crazy. Lucia is short and blonde. She is naughty and smiling. And Carmen is tall has a brown straight hair. She is friendly. We go to cinema, take photos, go shopping and much more.

I go to high school "I.E.S Fernando de los Rios", in Malaga. I am in second year of E.S.O. My favourite subjet is Art, because I love paint and is funny. And I hate languaje because is very boring. On a typical school day, I have English, French, Languaje, Natural Science, Geopraphie and History, Music, Art, Maths, Technologic, P.E and Religion. I wake up of 7:35 a.m, I dressed, I have a breakfast, I brush my teeth and I go to school. After school, on Monday, Wenesday and Friday I go to the GYM, and Tuesday and Thrusday a teacher goes to my house.

            From a very young age, he waws interesated in learning

            guitar, classical guitar, acoustic guitar etc...
